Yeah, I feel kind of bad for Jody in this - I mean, she's horrible and manipulative, but she didn't really deserve to get in this far over her head!
I do wish we'd found out more about the original Weavers! Although the speculation is a lot of fun, and I like your idea that Weaver genuinely isn't sure about the discrepancy and wants Ellison to figure it out, that's cool.
Sarah is one of the queens of secret feelings, which is part of why I love her so. <333
I got ridiculously excited about rewatching this particular episode. Jody! Savannah! Kacy and Sarah having talks about (fake and real) birth stories! Cameron and Allison! Ellison's ex-wife!
Basically it gives more history to everyone, both lead and minor characters. Love it!
Meanwhile, it's Ellison and Weaver time! Hi, Ellison and Weaver, king and queen of hot sartorial choices. Hee! Yes indeed.
Kacy's reaction to Sarah telling her the truth was interesting, because I think she was more comfortable with the sweet, fake story. And then Sarah gives almost a motivational speech, which is... disconcerting and sort of awesome, because she keeps falling for these people that she can't really afford to care about. (But that's what makes her not like the machines.)
