I figure I'll post, 'cause that's what this is here for.

Winter hasn't really been winter here. I used to think the weather was crazy in New England, but the past couple of months have beat that thought into the ground. One moment it's freezing and we're having flurries, then it's 60 out and sunny. We haven't gotten much snow, but we've had plenty of ice - not that that lasts very long. Christmas was as I expected, green, gray, and wet.

I've started a knitting project that I hope goes well. I had some really nice sock yarn that seemed far too pretty to make socks out of. I found a scarf pattern that I decided to try to make a thin scarf out of that I'm going to use as a headband. If this works, I might make a few of them. Also am redoing E's scarf, as the pattern I made continues to roll in on itself. Not sure if the other pattern I'm looking at will work with the yarn I have, but I will find pattern that will work soon.

Seriously considering going on vacation next Christmas as I was moody as all hell for the holidays this last year. I want to go someplace warm and sunny - get away from the winter/holiday blues. I wonder if Jewish people go to Disney on Christmas? Or if Disney is even open then. Otherwise maybe I can go to deep southern Florida and spend time on the beach, and visit friends in FL before and after the holiday. Or maybe I could hit San Diego and Mexico for the hell of it. I guess my options are open in some ways.
