Why are females always so damn hung up on legality? I'm sure legalizing your union had little effect on it, so why would the opposite be true? Your lives, regardless of what the law might say, are only as connected as you physically and emotionally let them be. If you can't get over this without a silly piece of paper stamped by a notary and signed by a judge, then my suspicion is that you never will. (I really do mean this in the nicest, but most objective, way possible)

A marriage which has not been terminated should only become a problem if you wish to marry another, otherwise, you'll both still get tax breaks and that's a good thing. I'm just not sure why you see a legal commitment as such a huge road block; I have know a couple who were in their hearts and minds divorced for 4 years before they got the paper work to prove it and their separation was otherwise complete. All this aside, money I'm sure is an issue and divorce is not a cheap procedure!

he welched on a huge osap student loan
now im not eligible for financial aid for school
no school
no future
see the bind?

it's a tonne of bad finance
that i just can't afford to hvae in my life if he's not a part of it.. i mean when we were married i was pissed off enough that he defaulted on a huge loan that i signed for too.. but i figured together we could get through but now that he's gone
i want a new chance at life
a real chance

that and have you read the comments he left in this entry?
he's a bit.... well, you know.. "mad"
we're perfect canidates for divorce asap
