Staying in Greensboro indefinitely.

Only 27.2% of Americans have a bachelors degree. So why can't I get a fucking job with one? I feel like I should begin to write out how having a degree in music actually helps you as a person and make you qualified to do ANYTHING, because no one out of the field would believe it. I put out some more applications this week, blah, blah, blah. I took a test for the census on Wednesday and passed the hell out of it, missing only one question. So basically, they'll definitely call me to offer me a job, but the question now is when they'll call and what kind of job I'll get. But in any case, it will only last a couple of months unless I do something to convince them to hold onto me longer. So because I don't know what's going to happen, despite being sure I'll have some kind of job at some point, I'm still trying to find a job and it's not really working out too well still.

I'm beginning an effort to get back into UNCG in the fall. We had initially considered moving back to Jacksonville/Anniston/Oxford, and going to school back at JSU, but the two of us have decided against it, unless we can move Sheetz down there. There's no need to abandon a job that pays well. And if I get one, why should I abandon it? Besides, it's probably best I go into composition, considering that's what I want to do and am apparently good at.

In other news, Kellogg's is next ending Michael Phelps' contract with them, which was set to expire this month. A company spokeswoman said, "Michael's most recent behavior is not consistent with the image of Kellogg." Which begs the question ... really? How many people have you seen in your life that were high that say, "Man, I could sure go for a bowl of Frosted Flakes"? I mean really. I don't understand what the big deal is. Yes, I understand it was illegal. But leave the guy alone.

retarded things, school, jobs
