I'm thinking Wilfs fairy godmother is probably a timelady, I think its probably Flavia.
It was a very wierd and week episode in terms of plot, reminded me of those old 6th Doctor episodes like Revelation Of The Daleks, which were seemingly pure triple distilled gayness without a huge emphasis on story or much else. Was still quite enjoyable mind. Ending was lots of fun. Bring on the time lords.
I watched it with a couple friends and none of us knew what the fuck was going on the entire time.
Basically the whole episode seemed to be 50 minutes of filler leading up to the final pun. Also I guess Gallifrey for no reason I really hope this doesn't lead to explaining the time wars
I agree about the species identification, that mildly annoyed me - but yes, WONDERFUL episode, and I much preferred the Master wearing more casual attire with bleached hair, made him seem closer in type to the Doctor, even though the good man always dresses fairly smartly - he does make it his own! And as you say, the Master became a lot more sensual in this episode, which made him kind of attractive! I was initially confused by his apparent successful restraint in the straitjacket, but then when it was revealed that it was no restraint at all it became a little more kinky! He was submitting to constraint for kicks!
I must have missed a crucial point though, I didn't get the sinister overtones of the Gallifreyans...in what manner were they portrayed as baddies? I know they want to end time and all, but that doesn't make them intrinsically evil...what did I miss?
Also, if Donna has her memories back, does that mean she's a Timelord again?
