(no subject)
First, I'm late once again, but still - belated Happy Birthday, citibyrd!! Have a fabulous new year! ♥
As you might have noticed I'm sort of absent lately, which is part worry about my computer (I don't dare running it for more than half an hour at a time or so), part busy times at work, part the nice weather, and part general blah-ness about anything and everything. So if there's anything you think I should have seen/commented on, but didn't, please let me know!
Recent fandomy stuff: I lovedlovedloved the new Heroes, but as usual don't have a lot to say about it. Isaac's death was good, great scene. I never really cared about the character, so I don't mind seeing him go. The Petrellicest was strong with this episode, and Peter and Sylar's little fight was fantastic. I also loved Mr. Bennett and Matt and Radioactive Guy trying to escape.
Supernatural was a lot of fun and I crave crossover fic now. Come on, two brother in/breaking out of prison? Dean/Sam/Michael/Lincoln(/Ryan/Cyril) OT4(6)! (Only not really, because I don't ship Michael/Lincoln and Ryan/Cyril is just wrong, even for my standards.) I'm sure someone must have done this already? Otherwise I don't really have a lot to say, again. Sorry for being a bad fangirl these days, you all are much more eloquent than I am, anyway.
And some more OZ babbling, up to 4x07:
- Ok, so, Ryan on the ground, smirking, licking his lips and telling Officer Claire (EW EW EWWW!) to blow him. Ngh. I'll be in my bunk (where, no doubt, I will be tarred and feathered by angry feminists.)
- Never thought I'd say this, but - I want McManus back? In Em City, that is.
- I loved psycho!killer!Rebadow. And Busmalis is so wonderfully clueless.
- Shirley Bellinger. I don't even have words. That execution was one of the most chilling scenes I've seen on television.
- Oh Beecher. :(((( By the way, why did Schillinger make him believe that Keller did the kidnapping, but let the kid go (i.e. showing some sort of remorse)? I mean, Schillinger's evil and all, but that didn't make too much sense to me. Then again, the plotholes are widening, anyway. (Not that I care.)
- I'm getting everyone's obsession with Keller now. :X
- What else... I don't really care for the whole Adebisi-trying-to-establish-his-empire storyline, as much as I love him. The thing with Gloria was painful, but interesting insofar that it gave some more insights into Ryan's mind (I came close to hating him at some points, but thinking about it, he made some sort of sense). I like Stanislofsky (spelling?), but hated the whole tedious cell phone thing. Officer Claire still needs to die - you know, I could respect it if she used sex to get what she wants, but killing people for some random convict (even if that convict is Ryan O'Reilly) just to get laid? That's more or less the definition of pathetic. Plus the whole sexual harassment thing. DIE, CLAIRE, DIE.
I probably forgot half of what I wanted to say, but whatever.
Now I'll call my mom, and then maybe head off to the park for a while. See you!
