So at the clinic we sign appointment notes with our initials like so: "new patient, partner diagnosed with trichomoniasis, ds." There's someone who works here with the initials E.W. and every time I see something this individual has signed I think that they are saying, "______, ew." like "ew, gross" and it trips me up EVERY TIME.
In other news, my student debt makes me a little panicky. Like, I am going to be paying this shit off for so long. My small loan, which is roughly 15% the size of my large loan, is going to take me 5 years to pay off. I am too scared to calculate how long the big loan will take. Ugh.
Okay, not so much worse. Only 7 years. Of a fucking giant payment, but as long as I keep living off my parents' generosity, I'll be fine. I'll just be one of those people who doesn't contribute to society and is totally entitled and leeches off the goodness of others. It'll be cool.
Ugh need another job that pays real money =(
Sofitel is supposed to call me sometime soon to schedule an interview. Hopefully that works out! My dilemma there is: they have a part-time and a full-time position available. If I got the full-time one, I'd be working roughly 50 hours a week, which would be pretty okay with me but kind of lame because I wouldn't be able to pick up many extra shifts at the clinic. However, I'm not sure how many hours I'd get with the part-time position or whether there would be nifty things like insurance included in the deal. Cross your fingers for me that the PT one is roughly 30 hours/week and has benefits! And that they want to hire me at all! My plan is to be completely overjoyed if they offer me either position and scoop that shit up like it was, um, something really awesome. Because it would be. GO CREATIVITY GO
