Dressing babies is totally fun. Mostly because they own things like
bear socks.
I am always like oh I'm babysitting today! I can get a bunch of stuff done that requires sitting around and typing things in to my computer, like my Peace Corps application* and whatnot! But oh my goodness this baby is so fun and smiley and wonderful and DEMANDS PLAYTIME
Here you will see Sebastian in his ExerSaucer. Near the bottom left is the Hungry Caterpillar rattle that I use as a maraca while I sing things like, "DJs in the club, Jesus freaks and thugs, we all want the same thing". Sometimes the caterpillar is the one singing. He is okay.
Sometimes Sebastian just wants to nom on his feet.
And sometimes he smiles and it is like the sun is right there in the room!
Which is nice because holy fuck it is cold out and it hasn't stopped snowing all day. At least it wasn't snowy for Zombie Pub Crawl? Although it was terribly cold.
By which I mean, um, brains.
That is me on the left, eating my good friend Resa's brains. OM NOM NOM
If you'll excuse me, I have to go make silly noises at a baby. And probably change a diaper. During which process I typically sing
this song.
*P.S. Oh, yeah, I'm applying to join the Peace Corps. Which, yes, does set back my grad school process a little bit, but also will give me some neat life experience that is not so firmly centered in academia, which I feel like I need. After 20 years of school I find myself wondering, maybe there is something else worthwhile? Just perhaps?
