Big Reveals abounded yesterday, so they require a Big Pimp post today. ~grins~
The
sshg_exchange reveal was posted, and I was lucky enough to receive
two pieces of art from
cecelle. I'm still torn between which is my favorite, since everytime I look at them, I find something else to admire. I suspect that means that I like them equally well. ;) Thank you very much,
cecelle! I'm not sure you know how thrilled I was to received your gifts.
My contributions to the
sshg_exchange are here:
Never Too Late,
Hades and Persephone, and
Out of the Grey.
And I want to thank
shiv5468 and
ginny_weasley31 for their patience with a newbie mod. I suspect they sometimes despaired of me getting the hang of everything, and they were incredibly patient. Also, my thanks to
deemichelle,
keladry_lupin,
southernwitch69, and
sshg316 for wading into the admin pile without blinking an eyelash, and
mollyssister for coding her fingers to the bone. Without their help, the exchange would have been impossible. They truly went above and beyond the call of duty in rolling up their sleeves and pitching in to get everything done.
Last, but not least, I want to thank everyone who pinch-hitted for us, all those who cheerfully took on beta-reading assignments for people they barely knew, and everyone who offered help and encouragement. You all proved that the Snape/Granger community is a community, even if we sometimes snarl and snap at each other. ;)
And on the Labyrinth side of things...
labyfic posted their
reveal yesterday, too! Thank you very much,
vashka_kat, for
The Gift Horse. It's exactly what I wanted without knowing it was exactly what I wanted. ;P I laughed and sighed and enjoyed every word of it, and I highly recommend that you read it if you enjoy Labyrinth at all.
My contribution was
Welcome to Hell, and I think I threw a few people off, since it wasn't my usual genre of Labyrinth fic. Although, I didn't fool
tallulah99 or
subtilitor, who proved they were much better than I am at spotting different writing styles.
Thanks to
dmacabre for making my
labyfic exchange participation so enjoyable. I know she pulled her hair out a few times and despaired of ever getting everything done, and she deserves to have a rest someplace nice and warm where pretty boys bring her drinks topped with colorful paper umbrellas. ;)
