HarperCollins has released a multi-media version of an ebook that will allow the author to "pop up onscreen at various points in the novel to talk candidly about the plot's turning points and her vivid characters

I read about that e-book, how intrusive, but perhaps there are people who like that sort of thing, can it be turned off? or do you have to listen/watch until she finishes then are allowed to continue reading? There is a community that shares ebooks if you are interested.

I don't know. Surely there's an option that will allow it to be turned off. I can't imagine that they would force it on a reader. But then again, I don't know for certain.
