Where have I been and what's up?
Well, the signs were followed. We have purchased our own home. We've been in almost two months. I'm almost all unpacked. Just two boxes that I dread opening. Those boxes that you put things in because you don't know what to do with the things. Yeah, that's what is in there.
There is three bedrooms. One with a master bath. The master bath has a jetted tub and a stand up shower. The bedroom has a TINY closet. The boys opted to share a room and have a toyroom for fun. Later we'll get loft beds and they can have their own rooms. We have a nice basement, it needs to be finished and we need to figure out how to get there from in the house. Hubby wants to add on to the house, I want to put the washer and dryer in the basement and open the floor where the washer and dryer are at. Either way we have to go outside to get to the basement.
Oh, I guess I lied, we didn't buy a house. We bought a garage and the house came with it. It's a big garage, but didn't have power. Randy has put that in and is working on hanging the lights now. We not this second, right this second he is at work.
I have been learning how to cook (yuck), keeping up with the house (fun), taking my son to school (driving sucks), debating on homeschooling (just not sure yet), debating on transfering schools (we moved into a good district).
So I am sorry for my extended vacation, and my sneak in return is not to say I'll be here long term again. Who knows what the future will bring? I didn't expect to be in my own home for al least two more years.
