'Approaching Normal' - Chapter Eight

OMG, story update. Well, the good news is, I have two more chapters in the can, and I'll post the next in a week. The bad news is that I'm not writing at a particularly fast clip these days because I actually have a job at which I like *gasp* working. I'll try and be speedier with things, but I can offer no promises

Wow, that was a brilliant update, maybe my favorite chapter so far. The Nathan and Haley interaction was so beautiful and genuine. Despite their many issues, I couldn't help but have a huge smile on my face as Haley realized that she was flirting with Nathan and making divorcing jokes. And I'm so happy that she at least realized that she isn't over Nathan and still loves him. And I completely sympathize with her plight about being torn what to do. It's just not a simple situation with her starting medical school and I wouldn't be surprised at all if she resolves to put her feelings aside and just power through. It would be such a Haley thing to do.

I also love the Peyton and Haley friendship you have wrote in this story. It's maybe one of the best portrayals I've seen yet of their friendship. It's so nice that they can talk with each other so openly and that they can call each other out on certain things without anger. It's really wonderful.

But I have to say that I think my favorite part had to be Nathan's declaration and "gorgeous" smile. I can just totally picture it and it makes me want to giggle every time. Peyton is right, definitely romantic.

I can't wait to see where you take this story, especially I have no idea where it will go. Like Haley, I honestly don't know where you go from here considering the distance and and Haley's hesitation. Should be very interesting. So please, update soon!
