I meant to reply to the last chapter but this one was already posted so I figured I reply to both of them here. Last chapter was very good. I loved how you wrote Haley being uncomfortable towards Nathan. I definitely think she has every right to be and I'm glad she was still wary of Nathan as she should be. And I'm just... baffled with what's going on with Nathan. The details that you're writing with his mannerisms is curious. I just want to know what is going on with him. He realized he's made a mistake, and it seems he wants to rekindle his relationship with Haley but I don't know the exact reason why (unless it's just because he's never stopped loving her). I'm just wondering what happened in his college years, especially when he got angry about something he thought Lucas told Haley. And very interesting in the end where you said he looked "resolved." I can only imagine what that means for Haley.
And now onto this chapter. I love the LHP interactions. It's just so natural and fun yet heavy at the same time. Also, Deb is confusing. I'm thinking that maybe she's treating Haley like the second coming now because she knows how Nathan feels about her or that maybe she realizes that he was happier when he was with Haley or something to that effect.
But one thing confuses me: Were Nathan and Brooke together twice? Because Lucas said he saw them together at the RC but than I thought Haley found them together in the parking lot of the school. Or did I get those details confused? But if they were together more than once, than that's just... not cool, at all (even if maybe NH were emotionally apart). Just very - sad. I guess it's good that they didn't sleep together but I'm still iffy on it I guess. And of course Nathan was drunk off his ass, but I really wanted to smack Lucas for thinking it made it any better. Maybe it's because I think it doesn't make it any better but it's my bitter pill to swallow so...
Anyways can't wait till the next chapter! I hope Nathan gives Haley a few answers and I'm very curious to see what their next moves are. It seems they don't have a lot of time with Haley not being there for long.
*cough*I'm a dope!*cough* No, really, Becky told me to fix that bit of continuity, and...well, I didn't! So really, there is just one "incident of horror", and it happened at the RC. And um, perhaps I'll go back and fix that...heh.
Anyway. Nathan is definitely resolved. He knows what he wants, and he's going to get it no matter what he has to do or where he has to go. A lot has happened to him in the five years they've been apart, and I think he eventually got to the point where he realized what he wanted, what was best for him, and now he just has to go out and get it.
The wait won't be too long. I'll try and post tonight or tomorrow! Thank you for your comments, I really appreciate it!
