Hi Elizabeth! I'm so glad that you are still around and reading. I've always, always enjoyed reading your thoughts and takes on things.
Poor Nathan. Sort of. I guess finding out that Haley had no clue he was back pretty effectively burst that bubble, huh? Not that he doesn't deserve it, but still. I don't know if I'm way off base, but sometimes I think of Nathan as someone who 1) lets life happen to him, rather than making it happen and 2) tends to react poorly when he's dealt a bad hand. Throw in the Scott stubbornness, and you probably have the makings of someone who would not only try and fix things on his own, but someone who would expect good things to happen to him, not because he made them happen.
Chapters 5-8 will probably serve to answer most of your questions! They are all written, too, so I just have to keep up on posting them. Hopefully I'll manage to stay ahead in this story so I can post on a regular basis. *cough*'Cause I'm so good at that...*cough* It's kind of feast or famine with me, isn't it?
Anyway, thanks again. I really do love hearing from you, and I hope that everything is going wonderfully for you these days!
You're right about Nathan. He plays the role of the victim well even if he is the one who victimized himself! That's an attribute that he clearly acquired from Dan. I don't mean that Nathan will end up like Dan because of this. Nathan has too much humanity and kindness in him. Those traits weren't alway evident because Nathan hid them (out of self-preservation) when he lived at home with his parents. Once he was with Haley, he didn't need to hide that aspect of his personality. At least, that's how I see it.
I'm doing well, thanks for asking. Although I don't watch OTH anymore (didn't like the direction the show took), I still keep up with some of my favorite authors. I love old school and AU NH. Soft spot in my heart. Hope all is well with you!! I always enjoy your stories.
