I can't help but shudder a bit every time the Brooke/car situation is brought up. It just, it's so... gah. I'm not really looking forward to the details of that, even if I'm totally curious. How twisted. LOL.

The state of LH's friendship was definitely sad, but also completely realistic. I think it's pretty much impossible for things to stay the same when you go off to college, when you move on, and there's that distance between you. I'm there right now, and it's work, to make those relationships be even kind of like they were before. It just seems so natural that LH would have drifted, while H/P (now I can't type it without seeing Harry Potter, thanks ever so, LOL) grew much closer. 'Tis life, I say, and I really, really love that you chose the realistic route, IMO, with that particular issue.

I feel so bad for both Haley and Peyton. I can't even imagine what all of this is like for them. Though, in a way I can. You do so well with expressing characters' thoughts, feelings, fears, etc. It's weird, not knowing exactly what went down with all of them but knowing enough, both by what is mentioned and by their reluctance to even be there at all, to know that whatever happened in the past? All kinds of not pretty, even a little. This is going to get so messy, and I just bet that Nathan is at the club, because Haley is so not prepared to deal with him or the past, and life seems to really love to throw curveballs like that. Yikes.

I cannot wait for more, Brynne!

Oh, goodness. Calm yourself, dear! :) I know I torture these characters in a lot of ways, but really!

I didn't mind tweaking the L/H friendship because a lot of friendships ebb and flow like that, even though I don't think theirs necessarily would. It is very realistic, though, so there's that. Plus, Peyton can just be on Haley's side. She will never, ever feel an obligation of any sort to Nathan that Luke will always have, and Haley needs that.

More soon!
