I wonder when people will realize that the "scene" has become homogeneous. i must admit, i laughed hysterically (inside, of course, cause i'm at a very quite computer lab; i did snicker though!) when i read all of this. It made me think of my....15 year old cousin, Sarah. I remember when they were so into pop music, and then I turned them to 89X....I felt like I had created a monster.... or at least, i created something that I definitely couldn't compete with. ; )
Sarah and Melissa are just like that... Sarah especially. although, they're not 90 pounds....they're definitely, at leat, 140's (Melissa's lost quite a bit of weight; I'm not sure where she's at anymore).

It just made me giggle because it puts in words exactly what I'm thinking when I see things that they wear or come up with (artistic wise) as I shake my head and say, "what happened to my dear cousins that would get all school-girl giggly-ish when they heard BSB or N Synce?"

I'm not taking offense. I just don't understand the point of writing that..not everyone who likes that kind of music is like that. And 14 year olds are still trying to find themselves and fit in, so it's fine with me if that's what they want to do. Oh well.
