A year goes by...

There have been many things that have happened since I last posted more than a year ago.  Our fireplace crapped out on us halfway through the winter and hopefully we can get it fixed... well, y'know, before we sell our house.  I know, I know, we have not even been in the house for two years, but something else happened that convinced us that we need to get out of that neighborhood even sooner than we wanted to.  It was just the excuse to get the ball rolling on what we wanted to do since the first few months of living in the house, but I was reluctant at having to admit we made a mistake about choosing that house in that particular neighborhood.  I was reluctant to admit that I did not want to move again so soon even though I kinda knew that we would not last in that house.  I mean, why did I not unpack everything already if I did not think we were not going to move again anyways?  So, yeah, this last event, the break-in, was definitely the deciding factor of whether we were going to stay another winter in that house.  We got a storage unit, started packing up our stuff, and started fixing up the house to sell it off...
In any case, I need to figure out how to pack things up nicely so when we store it we can easily unstore it when the time comes that we have another place to live for a while.
