R. I. P. Michael Jackson.
The famous Michael Jackson died; everybody knows that.
I therefore send my condolences. I am not his fan but I know who he is and how has he influenced many people in the world. You know, I think it was so sudden. It actually took me a long time to finally sink in to my mind that he's dead. I don’t know, it’s not like I can’t accept that he’s dead, maybe because I really didn't pay attention to his existence after all. Uh, no offense, huh. But I think maybe that's just the way people are.
I know some of his songs; I think we performed it for a program once. I know the songs Billy Jean, You are not Alone, Heal the World and Thriller. Yeah I'm not a fan but I am amazed of his voice; it is so good and unique. His voice is so distinguishable. His dance moves are the bomb, actually. I can’t do the moon walk and that's so depressing.
It’s pretty evident that the Filipino people love Michael Jackson.
I've been observing that everybody has been blogging him or including him in their
tweets. Apparently, his death has been the hottest talk of the town here in the Philippines. There are a lot of tributes for him around making me constantly hear the song Thriller. And whenever I hear that song, I'm like, “It’s not Halloween or what.” Hahaha. True right? However, you can't change that the Filipino people really love that song so much.
Oh yeah, speaking of tributes, I watched a very interesting and cool video tribute for Michael Jackson. It’s a video of the Cebu Dancing Inmates dancing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Why don't you watch it? It's so amazing. The video shows what rehabilitation is. It also makes me wanna go to jail.
