I had such an awesome time playing with Jack the rat yesterday, and I have a handful of SQUEEFULLY cute photos to share, including some of him nesting in my HAIR! *giggle* However, I totally ran out of time today, due to getting ready for a short hiking/camping trip to Big Basin this weekend and going to the grand opening of another San Jose Petco

No, Jack has never bitten me. Most pet rats in general don't bite. Rats in general have friendly, playful, tolerant temperaments. However, if they're truly unhappy with what you're doing, they usually either squeak loudly, squirm a lot, or go pee or poop on you. heh They're averse to biting unless you do something that majorly shocks or scares them, or something that gets them greatly angered. Now our squirresl will not come so often because we stopped feeding them for the summer. But now I have the ducks in the pond to look at near my work.
