This has nothing to do with anything (*giggle*), but....
Why does almost everyone find it so shocking, amusing, or just plain odd when they learn that I've fired a double-barreled shotgun when I tried skeet shooting years ago? (Or trap shooting; I never remember the difference!)
People are also surprised that I successfully hit three of the five clay disks ("pigeons") with no prior practice. Actually I was kind of surprised too! *chuckle* Beginner's luck or Annie Oakley? But what's the big deal with the shotgun? Does everyone think I'd get knocked flat on my ass by the recoil of the gun? LOL!! I might be skinny, but I'm also tough and gamy! heh ;D
