Gutted
Gutted. I don't even know where to start.
One of my favorite writer purged her FF and LJ accounts. Silly me, I never saved her stories offline and now I'm kicking myself for this oversight. I just never thought she would do something so drastic.
I feel like crying. Damn.
No more Fourteen Dates. A Book of Five Rings gone. TSWL, Kaidan, Seijin no Hi, and so many more... Those were some of the best known KakaSaku Classics.
I know she changed her name on FF some time ago, I just never expected everything to get wiped out.
She left the fandom a while back... Heck, a lot of us did. Changing interests, Naruto storyline sucks, life happening, and drifting away in general. That's life. I didn't expect to see her online again, but I'll go back and read her stories now and then. Now, I can't even do that.
I miss her. And now that her fanfics are gone, it's as though that one last connection I had with her is gone as well.
Dearest SakuraHaru, where ever you may be... Thank you for the lovely fanfics ( while they lasted), you're a wonderful writer and the KS fandom was fortunate to have writers like you. I hope you got your novel published and that you're doing well.
