I don't think children need to have their view of Santa destoryed. It gives this whimsical wonder of a elderly man who shouldn't even be able to be up throughout the night carrying pounds of toys to nice little children!

The cookies left certainly aren't a bribe for him.

But with all the exercise he gets lugging those toys around, it comes to being worthless as those cookies make him fat allover again, it is a torturous cycle!
