I was actually pleased with the last Punisher film.
In some ways, the last one was actually better than this one. In others, not as great. In all, I'm very happy with it. 2008 is the year of the Marvel Hat Trick for me, 'cause Iron Man was great, Hulk was great, and Punisher is great.
It is, in fact, a Most MURDERIFFIC Movie!!!
