IDK, apparently they were keeping it very hush hush. And I mean, I get that, since it isn't really anyone else's business but... wow, it made this come completely out of left field. When I saw the first posts, I thought people were kidding....

I know, I went and checked like six blogs, buddytv, and wikipedia before I could believe it. Buddytv has a statement from Kripke, btw.

I know. It's so out of left field! It doesn't sound like his illness was very long at all, just a few months. From what Jim Beaver wrote it doesn't sound like anybody was quite expecting it to happen so fast. :(
