On this day, we walked a little bit around Pitlochry. We wanted to visit the Blair Athol distillery. It was Sunday, it opened only at noon, so we walked a little bit around the village. We went to the
Atholl Palace Hotel, that once was a castle and now is, well, a hotel.

Blair Athol distillery. We didn't take the tour, cause it cost 5 quids, but we walked around and bought some whiskey. It's a nice place
From there we went to the
Edradour distillery. It is the smallest distillery in Scotland, only three people make the whiskey there. We took the tour there which was give by an old lady ("old" as in "old enough to be my grandmother) and it was really entertaining. I bought a bottle of single cask there. Two pictures:

After the visit to the distillery we went to Glen Coe. We stayed in
Ardno House in a place called Ballachulish. It was a lovely B&B - highly recommended. Some views from the area:
