So. I'm kinda tired of the not talking thing, doesn't mean I'm going to do anything to change it, and that really kinda bugs me.
Coming up on 4 months, and things really haven't gotten any better. They did for a short bit.. Not sure what to do or what can be done..
Work was all right tonight, I was on the floor with Ted, so I was able to help the ushers somewhat more than I could with Big S watching.. They didn't really need it though. Gave an older couple passes because they didn't like "The 40yr old Virgin"... I see their point and I agree with them.. but, Why did they buy tickets?.... Customers will never cease to amaze me.
Had a woman come out of Red Eye AFTER it was over, complaining about the kids in there... at night..on opening weekend.. PG13 movie.... I'm not allowed to tell customers off, so I kindly said "sorry about that, we try to keep things as orderly as possible...." and directed her to Guest Services with my name to get a pass. Had another woman confirm there was noise in the movie.. None of these people came out to let us know.. But this lady wasn't being snotty about it, so I thanked her and apologized.
The next showing, I went in before it started and let everyone know what was going on.. No phones, No beepers, No pagers, No talking. That was their warning.. I didn't hear any complaints after that movie.. After I had made the announcement, I was applauded.. I always enjoy that. Though last week had to be the best with "WE LOVE YOU!!" being shouted to me as I walked out...
Then it got slow.. I helped concession get stock, closed West Concession (our back concession stand) and helped double count the cash in the back. Then I helped Kaleena move a movie she had just broken down for pick up.. And then I went back to waiting for concession to finish closing and the last movie to let out.
Now I'm online, with no one to talk to and nothing to do. I work 5-cl tomorrow, on the floor again.. come say Hi.
I saw Veronica Williams, she's always been cute. Cool kid too, going into the ministry. and Ashley Lafayette, who I didn't recognize until she said hey to me. Robin is in Chicago for a wedding, and Heather is leaving tomorrow for a cruise deal or something. Liz is heading to school in a short bit, Lacey is too. And so is Danielle. Contact with these three will be cut to even less due to this.
That is all.
