A Break Through the Clouds.
A bit of good news, some time ago I started going to open mic nights in different bars, cafe's or clubs and preforming solo where I could and when I could, I've only got so much free time after all...
But I met a few other musicians along the way, one of which lost their lead in a tragic accident in spring. We've been practicing and finally got together a gig which we're going to do at the "Blu Jay" cafe. Tonight. We'll be the third performance, I'd say we'll be going on around 9 pm if anyone's interested.
I know there's a few of you out there who'll be happy to know I haven't just been wasting away at my desk.
I'd be lying if I didn't say I was somewhat nervous though. Ah well... best get this paper work finished so I can leave early.
((OOC: For anyone who was there and wanted to comment. Their band is "Scars N' Stripes" I'm original I know :|. They played three songs, One cover of "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters, and two original pieces. Shuuhei sang the second song in the line up but for the most part played lead guitar. Their sound is somewhat like Muse, intense, with inspiration from some of the more popular rock bands of the late 80's early 90's.))
