So, i got back from Mexico today. It was amazing. I will forever be speaking terrible broken up spanglish with severe hand movements for the rest of my life.

I got to bond with many of the people (including leaders, there were only 9 of us) and i got to play with really adorable kids.

The 'day care' center that we painted was for the children who sell chiklets on the side of the road and what not. Apparently, their parents are members of a local tribe in mexico, that dont speak spanish, so they cant get work. To solve this problem they send their children as soon as they can walk to the streets to bring in money for them to spend. It was terrible.

They actually had police officers locking and unlocking the gates, because to let these children have lives that children normally have, they litterally have to grab them, and thus causing many of the indians to be angry to the point of physical harm.

We then went to Door of Faith orphanage in Tijuana that takes in children whose parents abandon them, or just give them to them because they cannot provide adaquate care. Its normal for them to recieve children a few hours old. I got to play with many of them, ranging in age to infancy to the early 20's. Its amazing.

I got to lead worship on several nights, which is something ill never forget. We did worship with a group of six adults we had never even met before that were visiting from Yorba Linda. It was kind snazzy.

On a lighter note, i got some cool thingys. I got a pretty dress, some jewelry, and statue for celebration of the dead, a cuban cigar box, a worry stone, and im sure i got a pestiside of some kind.....joking.

Im going to rocky tonight.

The presidents wife actually came and visited us and got us all delicious fish tacos, which normally i cant stand.

So, all in all, i came back home un-wed, with new outlook of what people do, and new friends. Also i got a 15 digit phone number. Yeah.
