So our wonderful metro council is going to be voting on a ban of all drink specials in East Baton Rouge parish tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon. They are trying to get this all done under the general publics collective noses so that nobody opposes their push of their own moral values. This not only affects you as a consumer, but it also affects businesses as well. This is your last chance as an individual to try and make a difference...

The meeting starts at 4 pm. The turnout last week was pathetic. There were more MADD mothers in attendance than there were people in opposition of the proposal. We need to pack the place this week. Write out some notes and speak before the council. You have a chance to help protect the future of Baton Rouge's night life.
So that directly affects all bands in BR since bars use drink specials a lot of time to try and get people out to see these bands. It's also just bad for business. For more information go here:
