this is another one of the letters I sent to my penpal you can read if if your really bored but I just put in on here for my reference so I don't say the same things to him.
Hi again,
It’s been way way waaay to long since I last wrote and I’m soooooo sorry. I’m one sad excuse for a pen pal but I’ll try to do better. Since it’s been so long since I’ve sent anything I’m sending another package with this letter. It doesn’t have as much in it as the last one, but it does have a pillow! lol
My brother actually surprised me and dropped off his sports illustrated for last month so by the time they get to you they’ll be a little out of date but I’m sure you and your buddy’s will enjoy them. I may be getting a job down town in Atlanta at a government building. Pays ten dollars an hour. My mom got the guy interested. That’s one point for her, but I’m not getting into the issues with me and her right now lol (the letter’s not long enough). I’m just kidding I love my mom but she can drive me crazy some times. If I say anything to her about it she’ll just say it’s her job to drive me insane.
I actually did some volunteer work last weekend at the Atlanta motor speedway. My old high school band runs a fund raiser there. The kids can work the concession stand and get money to pay their band fees. They can also drag their family and friends to help out too. Guess what I was, a dragged in friend. Nah, I had fun. I’m not kidding anybody when I say that running a stand on a Sunday when NASCAR is there is no easy task. Especially when I got assigned to squeezing the lemons for lemonade all day. My arms are still aching. We made a couple thousand dollars though…well the band did anyway. lol It’s so much fun being at the track. I love to listen to the engines start up, and then that first lap when they rev-up to as loud and as fast as they’ll go. Nothing else like it. Of course you can’t hear anything else for almost five minutes (their that loud). Then somebody wrecked on the first or second lap and I had to run back to the stand because everybody comes to get drinks when the race is on caution.
We just had Easter the day before yesterday. At least that’s when my family celebrated it. I never could keep track of holiday’s that aren’t as major as Christmas or New Years. It rained so we had to improvise and hide the eggs inside the house. My mom being her usual self had to over due the amount of eggs we brought so it was almost impossible to move around after they hid them all without stepping one. The kids didn’t really have to pick up the eggs as much as shovel them into their basket’s. They had a blast though. It was so funny yesterday, we couldn’t keep Bryson (my nephew) out of the plastic eggs we were trying to put up cause he kept opening them expecting more candy to come out.
Sometimes it’s weird to me how big he’s getting. Me and my sister have always been so much alike I think if I ever had a kid he’d be a lot like Bryson. He’s finally talking now too. He tells me good night and I love you. He’ll be three this year in December. Makes me feel old and I’m only 18 damn it! lol
I was actually in the hospital Friday night until 5 am Saturday morning. I couldn’t stop getting sick. I’m sure you want to hear all about that (sarcasm). It sucked I felt nauseous all night. I still do some. When I got back into one of the hospital rooms they pumped me full of so many drugs it wasn’t even funny. Within three minutes my head was going whoa. I felt like I was high or something. Then they told me they were giving me something so I would sleep until the nausea medicine kicked in and then I was out like a light. Maybe somebody should have warned them I have a sleeping disorder where when I go to sleep I like to stay that way. lol Finally this doctor came in there a couple of hours later and started pushing on my stomach asking me where it hurt. He was pushing on the wrong part or something cause within three seconds I felt like I was going puke again. I told my mom to give me back my bucket in case I did and you should have seen how fast that doctor was running out of there. He hit the door and was yelling “nurse!” I was just sick enough to get enjoyment out of that.
When I was drugged I must of sent a text message to my best friend odd(short for Audrey), cause when I finally got my phone back like three days later I had no joke, three text messages, two voices messages, and about five missed calls. Apparently I told her I was in the ER but didn’t tell her why, so she freaked. I thought it was sweet that she was so worried about me.
About the only highlight of my past few days is the book I’ve been waiting so long on posted another chapter online today, so I spent like twenty minutes reading it a few times. Now if the book will just come out. For now I’m busying myself with Anne rice novels. I don’t know why but I’ve always loved books about vampires. Every time I tell that to someone they ask me if I’ve read Rice so I’m giving her a try. Turns out a lot of vampire movies were based on her books. “Interview with a vampire”, and “The queen of the dammed” were the two that I knew right off the bat. She may have had more, but those were the two that I knew. I’m almost finished with the first book and it’s not bad. I’ll probably get hooked on it and wind up buying the rest of the collection so I can find out what happens to the characters. I think that’s the best thing about a book series. You get so read about the same characters. You don’t have that first part of the book where your just trying to get used to them, you can just start reading.
The note attached to this is something I received from a friend through email that I thought you might like to read.
Your pen pal, Stacy Bailey
