Random Twilight Question -- Spoilers!

Whee, random post!

First of all DO NOT READ THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE READ ALL OF THE BOOKS. (And if you haven't read the books, what the hell is wrong with you? GO START READING!)

This is something that I typed up for the EBTwilight message board. Feel free to answer on here!

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT ROSALIE?

♥Love her

♥Like her

♥Hate her

♥Don't care

Okay, so the more I read these books the more I really start to love Rosalie. The first time around I didn't like her but I think there is a lot to love about her character!

I think that Rose is misunderstood because of the way that she acts towards Bella in each of the books. In the first three she's very cold towards Bella and in Midnight Sun she's definitely not one of Edward's favorite people haha. Then in Breaking Dawn she's portrayed as one of the 'bad guys' for helping Bella continue with a pregnancy that ultimately did kill her.

But for me, I definitely can see the reasoning behind everything she does. Her treatment of Bella in the first three books (and MS) is first because of the threat she is to the Cullens and then ultimately she resents her for her humanity--something Rosalie would give anything to have back--and her willingness to just throw it away.

Breaking Dawn... I believe that Rosalie is thrilled that Bella is finally making a choice that she can get behind. I truly believe that she was completely confident that they could deliver the baby and keep Bella alive at the same time. And they could have done it that way if not for the freak accident.

I don't agree with those who say Rose was hoping that Bella would die so that she could have the baby. If that was the case, do you really think that she would have been so willing to hand Renesmee over to Bella when she came back?

To me, Rosalie is an ultimately likeable character and I really love her now that I can understand her motivations.

So what do you guys think??
