Okay, well...
First of all a HUGE thank you to all who commented on my 'feel good' post--had a truly sucktastic day at work today and your kind words made it all fade away. THANK YOU!
And now... *points to icon* Pretend 'Walmart' says 'Subway' okay? Now the reason for the sucky day--Rodney, one of my co-workers who has been there longer than everyone except one person, didn't do a couple of steps during the closing last night. No biggie, right? Apparently wrong.
When Amanda (manager) confronted him on it Rodney supposedly flipped and started yelling at her (I was busy with customers and didn't hear it--most likely it was him just being overdramatic as always). Then one of our two uberbosses called and overheard it so he told Amanda to take Rodney off the schedule which left me back at working 7 AM to 2 PM on Saturday when I already have plans (not to mention working longer hours on my other days). Grrrr.
But THEN they changed their minds after a looong talk with him and put him on probation--meaning that he gets to come in tomorrow. Now the only thing is that they're having a mandatory meeting Saturday night at 6 PM--ugh like none of us have anything better to do with our Saturday nights than to go deal with their shit?
I'm seriously considering not going--I'm gonna be in Balch Springs and may not have a ride and damn it if they fire me then at least that means they have to give me my check within 10 days and frankly it'd be a lot of stress off my shoulders. Already considering turning in my notice tomorrow as it is.
Anyway running out of time on the library computer so gonna go check out my F-List... hope you all had a better day than I did and thanks again for all the sweet comments! Ya'll are the bestest!!!
