Cellular regeneration, it seems, is both a blessing and a curse.
I should have killed him, when he was lying there in a pool of his own blood. Really, I don't know why I didn't.

Despite what you and your little group of friends might think, I'm not a true killer at heart. When Haine was down and out, I could have easily blown those wings of his to smithereens, and presently he'd be in the hands of the Malnosso, instead of making a complete recovery. I suppose that I'll leave the rest of my motives up in the air, and let you make them what you will.
Though, none of it really, matters, right? I'm sure you'll be just as intent on cutting me to shreds, no matter what I have to say.

You say that you do not enjoy murder, yet you make a mocking out of killing another.
You've hurt one of my comrades, I cannot forgive you that. What stops you from doing it again?
It seems that you look for weaknesses that your enemies can possess and I can assure you that I can't allow you find anymore of those when it concerns my friends.

What stops me from going after Haine again? Heh. I thought I told you that he's the one that started this fiasco. Like I said before, keep that dog of yours on a leash, and then we wouldn't be having headaches like this. A good dose of common sense wouldn't hurt, either.
Quite frankly, I'm not at all interested in your friends, or whatever weaknesses they may or may not possess. And if Haine hadn't jumped at the chance to avenge a man that he barely knows, I wouldn't have even noticed your existence.

It seems that you took the time to study Haine though, probably when your friend was fighting right? I'm sure you know quite a few new things now.
