[Nothing but the faint sound of footsteps, perhaps a cough. Mumbled words, almost drowned out by heavy breathing.]
This isn't what I--
...Nill.
[And a sharp thud, pain evident by the low hiss escaping with a shallow breath. A soft groan immediately follows what is, obviously, dry heaving. Though muffled with a hand.]
Get up.K-Kio, please

Still, that voice, and he was choking on his tongue in an effort to smile. Smile, appear perfectly fine so he would not be punished for it later. Yet, the apology was the first thing out of his mouth, hindered by a slight cough.]
I'm...sorry.

He's all yours. Better take care of him, he's obviously not well.

Soubi tilted his head back, mouth thin as he swallowed almost harshly. The taste wasn't very pleasant, but he managed a small smile, lips turned up at the edges. And though his words were shaky, it was calm, clear English.]
Thank you.
[Incidentally, it was all he could manage before he ducked his head and immediately pressed the back of his arm to his face. He was going to get sick standing there. Soubi knew it, and he tried to sink back to his knees to avoid an unwanted situation.]

He didn't expect that thanks- in English- though. He shrugged a little awkwardly at that, shoving a hand into his pocket. It wasn't like he'd done anything. He wasn't much use around this place as it was.]
Yeah, no problem. Go to the clinic if you need more help. I'll just go, then.
[He jabbed a thumb over his shoulder to accompany this, unsure if either of them actually understood much English or not before turning away to leave.]

His words were a mixture of sound -- partial English, mostly Japanese. It was rudimentary, really. Asking the other to wait, barely able to comprehend his own words as they fell from his mouth. But even as ill as he was (and felt), it wasn't difficult to understand. Certainly Owen would need to be thanked properly when he wasn't on the verge of dry heaving.]
Nn... Kio.
[Soubi tried to stand again, hating how easily he had succumbed to this weakness. He wanted to be on his feet. He needed to start moving again. A harsh breath left his lungs, and he closed his eyes.]

Do you need help?
[Not exactly offering it, but whatever. It wasn't going to do much good if the only one who seemed to know any English was the one who looked ready to collapse.]

Attention focused, blue eyes settled on Owen. Observing, quiet aside from the chuckle slowly dying into a strained cough. He would want that water later.
And his English, though not as broken as his friend's happened to be, seemed thick on his tongue. Soubi spoke, knees buckling slightly.]
I got it out.

[It didn't look like there was much to help with, at least not at the moment. He might need a doctor, yeah, but somewhere other than out here if he could help it. Soubi'sfew words, however, perplexed him for a moment.]
Got what o-
[And it struck him. He nearly smacked himself in the forehead. Of course. That was one thing less to worry about, if just because it meant he knew the cause of his illness and, if all went well, that it would go away with time. Not an emergency; good, he'd had enough of those for a while after those GUILT patients.]
So that's it. Figures. Well, it won't do you any good hanging around out here. Come on, where are you headed?
[As he said this he moved around to Soubi's other side to take his arm over his own shoulders. Kio didn't exactly look like he was the best fit to support him. ]
