Luckily I was able to vanish all of the bodies in our yard, but I still feel as though the smell is clinging to my skin. I nearly rubbed my skin raw in the shower after the last was gone.

Use salt and dish soap. It sounds disgusting, but it takes out the smell. Just avoid any open wounds.
