Another "Japan is Awesome" reason.
So, there is this Japanese TV program I like to watch called "BEFORE AFTER". It is basically the same kind of home improvement show as the US, where they'll take a lower income family, or a family with a very inconvenient house, and remodel it. It is really cool, just like the US shows, to see how they take houses poorly designed or just too small, and remodel it with a budget to fit the family.
You can actually watch some parts of the show here and here. Anyway, the show is really neat to watch, so when we catch it on the bf and I get really excited!
So he calls me to come watch it today. The show is the same in every way... same music, same camera style, same dialogue style with the architect and the family... except what they're remodeling isn't a house. It's a UFO.
A UFO Y'ALL.
I busted a gut laughing, and I hope it gets youtubed because that is some shit not to miss.
But the BEST PART:
Alien Father: "We have trouble experimenting on the humans because the cage is too small so they get too stressed" *cut to scene of small, dirty cage with three humans stuffed in"
Architect: *nods wisely* "Ah, I can see that would be a problem"
AFTER REMODELING SCENE: *standard piano remodeling "awwwwwwwwwww" music*
*camera pans*
*cage is 3 times as big with seating, a counter, and apparently a minibar as the "trapped humans" are drinking what appear to be martinis* *architect walks in*
*caged humans (4 now) start clapping*
Caged Human: "楽しいです" (It's fun!)
Architect: "ありがとうございます" (thank you very much)
Me: ROFLMAO
