Wow. I actually do have a purple shirt, and I will wear it. Those poor boys... I really, really hate how intolerant people can be.

I do too. Tyler's was the first I heard about this kind of thing, and I was shocked. What kind of person does that to your roommate?! Even at 18 you should know better. I feel so bad for anyone who has to face bullying of any sort. Japan is well known for it, too.

FWIW, I would have gotten away with purple easily in my placement, provided the cut was appropriate. In fact, one of my dress shirts for special assemblies and stuff was purple.

I'll definitely be wearing purple on the 20th. That is fucking sick.

Its more what do I have appropriate for the weather in that color...it is not a common color in my closet! I have a very light lavender shirt, but it is super thin. I do have a turtleneck I THINK but I need to find it!
