And here I was, thoroughly convinced that One-and-Thirty was a game safe from corruption lest the dealer be dishonest. But for a player to actually attempt cheating in such a crowded room...that was certainly new, particularly since he almost got away with it.
I never was much of a man for gambling; and if I hadn't decided before now, I would from this day forth be quite certain I should never be a man of cheating at it, either.
