A Disjointed Update
Various things I plan to do with the fleeting remainder of my weekend:
Learn how to change the shower head in my bathroom. I got to a certain point and now it looks like I need a wrench. I do not own a wrench, at least not one bigger than an over-sized pair of manicure scissors.
Buy a wrench.
Buy a new shower head. (this would have been accomplished yesterday if my stupid Bed, Bath and BEYOND gift card had worked like it was supposed to.)
Meet my friend at the Swine Bar!
Meet more people elsewhere.
Watch the season finale of Daisy of Love. Although I first turned my nose up at this program, it has since revealed itself to be: The Best TV Show EVER.
Go swimming.
Things I Already Did This Weekend:
Made a lovely blueberry buckle to bring to a party.
Beamed with pride as party-goers complimented my homemade blueberry buckle.
Left party early because Robert was supposed to drive in from San Diego and meet me at 9 PM.
Got stood up, which did not surprise me in the least.
Got woken up at 7:30 AM this morning by text message jingle--it was Robert saying, "Car trouble. Might not make it." Really? No shit! You're only TEN AND A HALF HOURS LATE!!!!
Finished reading The Fate of Katherine Carr by Thomas H. Cook
Started watering lawn
