It's a Plan, Stan
This weekend I am going to devote myself to reading and relaxing, the goal being to enjoy myself. I've had a houseguest for the last week but she's gone out of town and the beau is not coming into town. I have a few blessed days of complete alone time, and I am gleeful, thinking about them. I am practically salivating.
This morning I am still pretty tired though I started the day with coffee (of course) and the new Joyce Carol Oates book of short stories. I dislike the idea of exchanging pleasantries at work and wish I could just wear a sign that says, "Sorry, no pleasantries until after 11 a.m."
All I have to do is stumble through this work day and then my blissful weekend may ensue!
