the past 50 hours.

the basic story:
studying, pulling an all nighter studying and packing, being grateful that I was packed to go to NJ anyway because I was evacuated from my place (the river was high again), taking my stuff including my cat and driving in a fucking nor'easter to MA (next to my class) and begging a hotel to let me check in at 10 a.m. as opposed to 3 p.m., studying more, taking a one hour nap, studying, downing three small coffees on an empty stomach at dunkin donuts while studying with a couple of people from class, taking my final exam for my dental assistant program, throwing up the coffee, buying froot loops, eating froot loops while watching Saturday Night Fever, getting two hours sleep, and then my cat decided that she can't handle being in a hotel room because all the noises freak her out and she wouldn't let me sleep anymore.
so now, at 6 a.m., after three hours of sleep in the past fifty hours, I am going to shower and then drive to Jersey. sounds safe, right?
but I also have to say that I'm grateful for my life and I'm grateful for the fact that those I love are alive and well. my thoughts and prayers are with those at VT.
