Random Legal and Research Question for All My Peeps
So guys, here's the question:
Do shows such as Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown and People's Court and what not have some sort of research department that goes through Small Claims cases already filed, looking for the bizarre and the weird ones in order to make good television. Do they then contact the people involved and ask them to be on the show?
Or is it more like I imagine the Jerry Springer show, where people contact the show with an idea, the show's producers contact all the other parties and dupe them into coming on the Jerry Springer show for some other purpose?
