The company Christmas holiday party is on the 3rd, so I have been shopping for dresses. The thing is, most dresses, especially the ones at the mall, are designed for chicks that are 5'8" and flat. I am neither of those. Most dresses (and skirts and pants) fall funny on me because they're too long. And my breasts... well, they're bountiful. This is a pain in the ass when dress shopping because most dress tops can't accommodate them. They get squished ("aaahhhh I can't breathe!") or overexposed ("DAMN LOOK AT THOSE"). I'm proud of my rack and all, but they're kind of hard to miss, so there's no reason to wear something that shows all of the goodies. I'm not prude, but I don't like to look like I'm begging for attention or like I'm easy. I like understated, but with my boobs that limits my dress selection considerably.
Then again, if you got 'em, flaunt 'em, right? The dress I want is low cut (halter) but not scandalous. It's enough to show them off - People'll probably do a double take (but you'd see them in anything I wore anyways...) but it's not, like, Pamela Anderson shocking. I mean, it's a party and I'm in business clothes all the time anyways. What better time to let loose and show my fun and carefree side, right?
I don't know if I'm just too conservative or if I'm insecure about my boobs. I like to think I want people to like me and talk to me for my personality not my rack. Is it really that big a deal to show them off at a this party? It's not THAT revealing... If I were a B cup this wouldn't be an issue.
