OK....now you know we are going to ask for more ....*g* have another plot bunny.....what happens when they get back to Flacks place. Dirty errr inquisitive minds want to know.
Loved your description of Mac half way drunk. And the strangeness of kissing someone taller than himself.
oh, I'm as pervy as the next there... I'd really like to prevent Mac/Flack from becoming another epic relationship to eat my brain, but I'll be writing at least one more M/F ficlet before this on-demand thing is over.

Thanks. It's not a pairing you see every day, is it? :) I doubt I would've thought to write it on my own, but I'm glad motioncity44 prompted me to do so.
I'm basically in love with this. I would love to see you continue this, preferably with shameless porn. I'd always sort of had that pairing floating around in the back of my head, but you made it so tangible that... guh. No words, really. Beautiful work.
Thank you. Mac and Flack have an interesting energy together, and I'm surprised how well it worked since I literally had no idea how M/F would work until I sat down and *boom* there it was.
Oh, and I promise some shameless porn will turn up sooner or later. *nod*
Well, hot damn. I've always thought this pairing had potential, if handled well, and now I'm suddenly really, really enamoured of it. The depiction of drunk!Mac is dead on, as is Flack's straightforward approach to this entire encounter. His idea of needing to remember, vs. Mac's idea of needing to forget, also strikes me; it's perfect for both of them. Plus, the kiss? Hot.
In addition to the Mac/Flack, I also like, given the "Officer Blue" context, Mac's fixation in the middle on needing to find Stella and needing to tell her something. It's a good spotlight on how much he *needs* her, period.

*grin* Y'know, I didn't see the potential until literally about three minutes before I wrote it.
motioncity44 mentioned the beginning of "Officer Blue", and I was only going to watch the first few minutes of the ep, but I ended up watching the whole thing and *immediately* went to write the first draft of this straight through (even though it was late and I was supposed to be sleeping). So, yeah, Stella's place in the fic (even if she's not really in it) seemed really crucial to Mac's state of mind, particularly everything she says to him in the last scene.
His idea of needing to remember, vs. Mac's idea of needing to forget, also strikes me; it's perfect for both of them.*nodnod* Mac and Flack...they have a certain common vocabulary, and it's different than the one either shares with Danny... and I think it makes for an interesting semi-articulateness between them. Needing to forget everything that's happened at least for a little while is just...so Mac, but Flack's

Stellaluna, you have pictures of Mac/Flack being Dominated by Stella floating around in my head from reading this... Yeah, shameless hussy that I am. I could so see her as a Dominatrix. Mac needing to let go and Flack, well Flack just needs somebody to take care of him... better than a mommy could.
