...you know what needs to be invented? A way to tag your word files so they're easy to sort through and you can find what you're looking for. (God forbid I remember what I called a thing.)

There's not a way to do that yet, is there?

Look, my main document folder has 342 files in it. It goes back about eleven years. In a separate folder I have 244 academic-related word files, also going back about eleven years.

It's hard to sort through that shit. I do think it would be easy to set up and retroactively apply a rudimentary tagging system if there was a way to do so in the first place. In the long run it would make life a lot easier.

(Yes I use microsoft word. I've used it since I was fourteen, and I'm accustomed to it. At this point, unless there's some easy and reliable way to convert word files en messe to another format, I'm going to keep using microsoft word.)
