I'm about a third of the way through Matt Kindt's graphic novel
Super Spy.
The title is a bit misleading. "Super" connotes something larger-than-life, I think, and this is acheingly life-sized. It is a collection of intertwined vignettes set during WW2 and centering around all manner of espionage. It is beautiful and tragic in a largely quiet, everyday manner. The stories have a real weight and pathos to them. The art is lovely and fitting.
I highly, highly recommend it.
