yuletide redux
Yay! I got the same assignment again.

As you may have noticed, I am rather fond of the slash. However, don't worry if you aren't a slasher, I very much appreciate a solid gen piece as well. For me, the sexual relationship between characters (het, slash, threesome, whatever) is an equalizer, a way of breaking down who the characters are as themselves and in relation to each other, so as long as you explore the dynamic between the requested characters, I'll be a happy camper. (Well, okay, I'm not going to pretend I don't love porn, but I get off on in-character porn specifically.)
One of my requests (miss congeniality 2) involves something I've been calling the fellow soldiers ethos, where you have each others' backs come hell or highwater, regardless of whether the relationship has a sexual dynamic or not. (And if it does have a sexual dynamic, it's based on that ethos.)
Two of my requests are rather dark. (ravenous and blade three) I do have a dark fic kink, but for restrained dark fic. I find over the top a turn off; I'm all about the psychological turns. Much like I said in the first paragraph, I like dark fic because it's a way to break down the characters to their component parts.
I admit the other request is a bit of a wildcard. (first monday) *ponders* I think I just wanted something sleazy. If that's the one you're writing, I'm going to love whatever you come up with.
Okay, I'm going to love whatever you come up with regardless of fandom.
