A moment to kvetch about an old subject

Due purely to a fluke, I just discovered that Elton John and Billy Joel will be playing at Key Arena in November. Apparently tickets went on sale at the beginning of March. I was completely unaware. I just went over to ticket master to look for tickets. The cheapest tickets that are apparently still available are $179.00 per ticket

I feel your pain. I'd love to see that tour. Of course, I also want like mad to go to Bumbershoot this year, and I can't justify that, either.

I'll not torture you with stories of sitting on the lighting truss running followspot for Billy Joel. No, it's too cruel.

I will, however, suggest that you consider keeping an eye on craigslist and ebay in the week before the show. Prices *may* only go up, but you may also find a deal, and if nothing else you will likely find something last-minute at face value because somebody's sister is getting married or something random like that. Scrimp away and by the time November rolls around you can call it an early Festivus gift to yourself.

i had this debate with myself a few yearz back when Mariah was in town tickets were 250 off coruse you hyave to get 2 becuase you cant go alone.. it ended up being way worth it but yes its a hard thing
