Plumber and Book

We got another estimate for the replacement of the sewer line this morning. This one was $5,600. Yikes! They keep getting higher. Makes the first one look really good. We will probably get a few more estimates before we make our final decision.

I went to Barnes & Noble yesterday to buy the new Diana Gabaldon book. Unfortunately, it was not there. The truck delivering the books was delayed due to Hurricane Rita, or so I was told. I was not happy. However, while at B&N I did pick up Four and Twenty Blackbirds by Cherie Priest aka wicked_wish on LJ. (Sorry, I don't know how to do the link stuff.) Read 'til 1 o'clock this morning and then got up at 7:30 and finished it. Over all I liked the book. It is not what I would normally read, but I need to go outside my comfort zone sometimes. I do like books about the South by Southern authors. The book does have one section in it that bothers me. The problem section does not hurt the story really, it's just a nit pick thing for me. I will let you read the book and see if you find it. Then you can decide whether it is a problem or not.
