Really sad that I've only had one beer adn its already made me feel like this! Spirits? Well that's an entirely DIFFERENT story!!! YAYS!!!
Had a reasonably good day at work today, spent the morning doing little jobs and watching a video on the driveway at my boss' beach bach...don't ask!! Then in the afternoon we drove out west to Helensville to measure a structure we did a while back, and then out to Muriwai to check the sand levels. While at Helensville i saw the biggest water rat only metres away from me *SHUDDER* ewwww....!!!!
Muriwai was really cool though, gorgeous and sunny, I really do love the sound of the pounding waves of west coast surf...although I could NEVER go swimming there, the thought scares me too much, one of our contractors rescued a guy swept off the rocks only recently, he was one of the lucky ones...
On the way back i discovered that Miles and Sy were down at the pub, so after a few text messages where I realised the guys had locked me out of the house so I couldn't go and change, I got my boss to drop me off there....hence the beginning.... :)
